The world as a guest in Münster: 600 participants registered
(DKThR) Proud 600 experts, promoters, interested and concerned from all over the world signed up to the International Congress for Therapeutic Riding from the 12th until the 15th of August 2009 in Münster. Participants and speakers from Japan and China, Nord- and South America and most countries in Europe registered and assure this unique event.
An impressive scientific programme in five auditoriums: For four day Münster will be the focus of everyone who is interested in the adoption of the horse into medicine, pedagogy, psychology or sport. The comprehensive general programme with 180 speakers from all over the world is taking place in five auditoriums with simultaneous translations. “Workshops” and practical demonstrations with horses in the big Ring of the congress centre in the Halle Münsterland complete the general programme.
Highlights of the general programme: Another highlight is on the evening of the 13th of August. The jovial and humorous “Get-Together” with international flair is taking place in the traditional, typical atmosphere of the North Rhine-Westphalian state stud.
The festive gala-show in the Halle Münsterland is completing the programme on Friday the 15th of August. For just 15 € you will be able to enjoy horses and amazing performances. The North Rhine-Westphalian state stud agreed to come with its classic quadrille, 20 heavy horses and the popular August Schulte Quaterkamp, who makes fun of the world of horses. Professional Olympic sport is represented by Hubertus Schmitt and para-olympic riders. The fascinating co-operation of herding dogs is displayed in the figure ‘horse, dog and goat’. Furthermore baroque horses are showing off their capabilities of show horses and Icelandic horses their swiftness. The whole show is framed impressively under the slogan “The Little Prince”.
